Swivel Conversion Kit for Clicgear model 3.0/3.5+/4.0

Just Perfect

I completely upgraded from v1 to v2, added a front wheel swivel kit and wheelie bars. Game changer and not too difficult if you are somewhat mechanical minded. Definitely recommend.

The swivel conversion is a nice upgrade to the clicgear 3 wheel cart. I love the engineering that went into this piece that allows the cart to function as it originally did and folds up perfectly. However there have been a couple of flaws that have emerged that aren’t a big deal, but I had to fix them. First one was that the screws provided to attach it to the cart stripped out. I fixed it by drilling through both sides and just using a screw and nut combination that has worked great. The second issue is that over time the screws and nuts on the sway bar can loosen up. If you don’t watch them and regularly tighten them up, they can come undone even with the locknut. Still it’s a great product and would definitely buy again if I had another clicgear.

I like it. But the first time I used it I lost the nut and bolt and three washers that holds the bar to both wheels. So had to go to ace hardware and get that. I guess going forward you need to check all the nuts and bolts.

Easy to change and a real improvement versus the single fixed wheel. Much easier to turn. It takes a little time to get used to how quickly it turns compared to the single wheel. Love it.

If you have the clicgear fixed front, the swivel is a must and a GAME CHANGER! Really easy to install as well.

The most innovative product I have purchased in years. The conversion to my existing pushcart was seamless with clear directions and the reuse of the rear wheels is applaudable. In my opinion this concept is the best on the market. There are many positives around the design and ease of use of this product. Certainly, if you are in the market for an electric pushcart you will not be disappointed with this Alphard Club Booster.

The conversion kit is a no-brained add-on to the V2. It adds stability to the cart by converting the 3-wheeler into a 4-wheeler. If you have the V2, you should definitely add the conversion kit.

The swivel conversion kit for my Clicgear 3.0+ is a super upgrade for the V2. Makes the maneuverability extremely responsive. It is really well made and easy to install. Highly recommend.

This swivel wheel accessory is an absolute must have if you currently have your Alphard device attached to a fixed front wheel cart. Turning is much easier. With this accessory your battery charge lasts much longer. My cart was much like turning the Titanic late into the round before I upgraded to the swivel. My CG3.O still collapses just fine. The only negative is, after installation of the swivel unit, you lose your ability to perform manual braking. Parking lot assembly/disassembly requires creativity. Avoid downhill lies. Marketing won't make you aware of this lost convenience. Still worth it!

This conversion kit works great to replace the fixed front wheel on my ClicGear push cart. It does make the Alphard Club Booster work a lot more efficiently - easier to maneuver and the battery lasts much longer! The one down-side is that you lose the parking brake. An ok trade-off for the increased efficiency, but an issue if you ever just want to use the push-cart by itself.

This front wheel conversion is a game changer for handling. The battery lasts longer when it doesn’t have to fight to turn the cart, unlike the stationary wheel that came with the click. If your using the remote, the cart straightens out as soon as you release the L/R button. The conversion also allows for a tour bag to sit lower, between the wheels. Bag is more stable.

Defiantly the way to go. Turns much better and smoother also much more stable for off camber areas. Defiantly refer to a friend

I'm a hard core Alphard V2 user for 2+ years, playing 3 days per week. I finally found the perfect combination to make golf life enjoyable especially at San Clemente golf course a very hilly layout and challenging course to walk however, with the Aphard swivel wheel kit the cart is stable especially on turns, side hill, and downhill, and the maneuverability with the remote control is smooth & fantastic. I purchase the Alphard Swivel Two Wheel Kit for my Clicgear #4 cart, well worth the investment. It took less then 10 minutes to install. It's made maneuvering around the golf course easier and more fun without the stress of when the cart will tip over(single swivel wheel). I absolutely like the way the swivel two wheel responds to the remote control, it's lot more stable with two front wheels. Highly recommend the ALPHARD TWO WHEEL SWIVEL KIT.

Switched to this instead of single front tire on my clic gear 3.5. No issues with set up. Cart turns much easier especially in the rough. Only issue that occurs is trying to back up cart…. Overall, great product!! Would recommend

I've walked over 1600 miles with my Alphard kit, and finally had to replace the front kit because someone in a golf cart ran in to it and broke it. Outstanding performance. I also walk very hilly courses, so it saves me a ton of energy.

The swivel conversion upgrade to my clicgear push cart was the best thing for me. The cart is now stable and easy to control, with the new addition of the V2 Alphard power wheel set. I would recommend this set for golf who enjoy walking the golf course.

Adding the two front wheels was a snap! Reusing the rear wheels on the Click gear for the front swivel is brilliant engineering. Ultimately, it makes the maneuverability of my cart. Incredible. I love it!

Swivel wheels add to the V2 perfectly. Battery life is extended and the ease of maneuverability helps on course. 100% recommended!

Certainly turns better than with the single wheel ClikGear, perhaps a bit too loose so the cart waggles when driving however the gyroscope seems to keep it in line.

Easy to assemble. Haven’t had the chance to use it just yet but I am looking forward to use all summer long.

Awesome upgrade

Good quality, good service in getting the product. Only thing that would help is some sort of a dampener on the tie rod to help keep the front wheels in a more steerable position. They are all over the place when you hit some rough terrain. Thanks to all, Dave C.

I love the change kit for my Clicgear and customer support guys! I received the kits and noticed 2 screws came with the kit could not be firmly fixed on, but later I learned that it was my mistake not carefully check the installation suggestion on YouTube. Addition to my mistake I lost those screws! I immediately contacted to customer support and they mailed out those lost screws and fitting. The Swivel kit is a must have for carts that have a stationary front wheel. This kit makes it much easier to control and turn on both grass and concrete. 100% satisfied.

The V2 works fantastic, this is my 15th round using the V2, and the fifth round with front wheels, now this is the way to go, much more responsive and less battery drain. I get alot of questions about the Clic conversion I made and the cost to do the conversion.

Great customer service

It turns a lot better than only having 1 front wheel. Going up a hill, if there is not enough weight on the front wheels, it does not turn well. Overall we are glad we purchased the dual wheels.

Converted my Clicgear 3 to a 4 wheel version for the V2 and works like a charm . Easy to assemble and even easier to steer. Love that I could convert a nearly 15 year old cart that was still in great shape rather than having to give it away & purchase another cart. A word of caution, once the cart is a 4 wheel, be careful folding it up if you have any accessories attached. I had a cup holder on my unit which used to fold up while attached without incident as a three wheel version but cracked a clamp as a 4 wheel version, totally user error. Alphard was awesome in helping me replace the clamp and now I just make sure I take off all accessories prior to folding up the cart. The folded footprint is now of course slightly larger but still easy to bring in the car and store once back home.

So glad I purchased the swivel conversion kit, making it a true four-wheel-drive. We have lots of Hills on our golf course and it feels so stable. Turns beautifully. It was a great choice. Super happy can’t wait to get out again tomorrow.

The swivel kit allows me to make turns so easily. The front wheels are now turning instead of dragging. I would definitely recommend it. I also notice the battery last longer because the cart is using less energy to turn.

So far after 2 rounds I love this addition. Well worth the money to convert your push cart to electric. Makes walking so much easier and more enjoyable. It’s already becoming second nature to control the cart without really thinking.

I bought the conversion kit for the Clicgear 3.5 cart and it has performed well. It doesn't seem to be as convenient as a swivel wheel, but the best part is the stability. I haven't had one situation in the 6 rounds with it where it even thought about tipping over sideways. It does limit the amount of wheel dragging when turning, but it's not completely gone. I tested the device with the single wheel on the front first and you could hear it sliding across the grass when turning. This is greatly reduced with this kit but not eliminated. It makes the cart slightly wider when stowed, but I can still use the wall hook to store it at home which is nice. I would buy it again and the stability in my opinion is worth it.

The conversion was very straightforward. Definitely makes maneuvering the cart seamless.

Got this as a Christmas present but I will have to wait 'til the snow melts to try it out. My hope is that with caster wheels up front the front of the cart won't have to slide sideways when turning, especially on paved surfaces. The wheel conversion was a snap. I'll update this review when I've used the setup on the course.

I used my new V2 booster today for the first time and it was great! Works as promised and easy to assemble. I bought the ClicGear conversion kit and it fits perfectly. Manages the hills nicely. This V2booster makes a huge difference when walking 18 holes.

My only problem with the conversion kit is that the neck that my click gear cart hooks into the conversion kit is made of plastic and it broke after using it for 1 season. I had to order another kit just to replace that part. Would have been nice if the neck was made of metal like the rest of the frame.

Increased my battery life by 15-20%. I could easily tell my unit turns easier with less drag.

I have the front wheel swivel adaptor for my clicgear 4.0 cart. It is the best! Very stable with a wide and long wheel base. It goes over any kind of terrain with out a problem. Turning is a dream. I purchased it because of summers in Colorado. Perfect!

Easy to install. The left and right response of the push cart is far better than it was just 3 wheels. I didn't like having to cut the brake cable but as long as the unit is turned on, I don't have to worry about it rolling away by itself. The material feels sturdy enough to where it shouldn't break when going through multiple bumps, etc. I haven't noticed any power saving since using it. I have a Clickgear 3.5+

The Alphard is awesome. Makes golfing so much more enjoyable. Works perfectly on my home course which is very, very hilly. No issue whatsoever. It's also surprisingly stable on my clicgear 3 cart with the swivel kit. Never had it fall over, even in a slanted situation. Only improvement I would love to see is a bit more battery life. One round is no problem. 27 holes works but you are taking a chance that it runs out of power.

I used to have 3 wheels caddy trek and since I have a clicgear also, I converted to 4 wheels and now my cart is more stable and save more juice which is good for my battery.

Great Product! I purchased the conversion kit and have played 6 or more rounds with it. Not one issue, very simple to install and definitely is more stable. Battery life has gotten better also. I have yet to play 18 and use more than one bar. Thanks for putting out such a great product. You have a customer for life!!

Seemed a no-brainer for increased maneuverability, increased stability and increased battery life. It's more awkward when folded since the wheels don't lock. On the course my Clickgear 3.5 with V2 and swivel wheels is rock solid stable and turns easily.

I definitely recommend converting your three wheel cart into a four wheel cart. With three wheels, it takes up extra battery because the cart needs more power to make turns. The four-wheel definitely saves the juice. Plus it’s definitely more mobile and stabile.

Very easy conversion. Nice to be able to reuse the back tires for this. Wish there was an option to lock them into place, just for the ease of transporting them. Great product. Look forward to the new additions this spring and to use the buggy all summer next year.

Works as advertised. I do feel that the "swivel" is so free-wheeling that it can get in the way when folding/unfolding the push cart. Not sure if you can tighten it up or even want to but a small inconvenience.

The articulated wheels are a vast improvement over the fixed single wheel. The assembly to my ClicGear 4.0 was simple. Your products are really well-engineered and constructed. I only wish that there was a way to lock the wheels in position for disassembly and storage. Not a deal-breaker though.

Worked great, trudged through holes and hills with ease and steered perfectly on command.

Does everything a caddie does except read the putts! Very stable up hills and down, easy to control with the ClicGear adapter for the front wheels. Carries a full load for 18 holes no problem. Easy to set up at the course. Well worth the money if you like to walk or even want to switch over to walking.

The 2 wheel front kit is a must and well worth the extra $.

Easy to install and definitely makes steering much easier on the cart paths. Adds some front end weight so back flips not much of an issue anymore.
