One speed is too slow for my pace and the next one is too fast. Would love a remote that has a more variable speed. Perhaps a dial rather than push buttons.

Daniel with Alphard was very helpful in fixing the issue I was having with my remote. Such a delight to see an individual going above and beyond in providing world class service. Wonderful company and great staff! Keep it up.

This is the worst company I’ve ever dealt with. A crappy product matched with appalling service. Save up and buy an MGI and avoid these guys at all costs.
Ty S.
Waiting for an email or phone call. I need a remote control and there sold out . Just need to know when I can get one
Arthur D.
I love my new V2 electric cart and all it’s features! It can out-walk me over 18 holes and I feel less tired as a result. The company’s instructions and videos make it easy to install and operate. I even set up the remote control on my iPhone and it works just like the original device.
Cost was reasonable compared to other options—

A bit Pricey for a replacement but I needed it

Customer service!
I appreciate a phone conversation with a human without a 30 + minute wait on hold.
Great job! Got my replacement remote without a problem.

1st I love my wheels. The original remote control died on me and I went back & forth attempting to exchange for another (remote won't keep a charge & hard to tell when charge level). I broke down and bought a new remote. I would still like to exchange and have an extra. I've been back walking since I received the new remote. Enjoy walking!!!! Other than the remote miscue everything has been easy peasy.

my request was handled quickly and timely!!

Lost my first remote. Ordered a replacement and had it in time for my next round.
Armand M.
The buttons on the remote need to be more separated. Better tactile feel.
DANIEL M.
Shipped on time - thanks for the great service !

Would love to have bigger range of control, overall I love it, am walking again and it is pretty cool

Way too expensive but it works sooo much better than the phone app

Works well, great service by Alphard

I agree with the issues mentioned by other reviews: No indication of battery life, the plug for the charge port is awkward, the holder is less than ideal.
I updated the motherboard for my V1 to the V2 motherboard, so this remote came with the upgrade. The magnet that is used with the original V1 is much more user friendly. I also tried to glue a washer to the back of the new V2 remote, but that only holds for a period of 7 or 8 rounds and the magnet comes loose.
If you come out with a new version, PLEASE allow it to be held with a magnet and not that awkward connector that is in place now.

no way of knowing battery life and it just stop working

Easy to order a remote and very easy to program
Paul E.
Easy to order. Came faster than initial estimation. Works great. Love my V2 set up!
ralph o.
Love the remote control. Easy to pair
tony g.
The remote needs to be battery powered. Tough to know when to charge it and the more you charge it the life is decreased. Doesn't always work well and $100 is ridiculous for this cheap piece of plastic.

A $2 remote selling for $95?

The remote controller came quickly and was exactly what I ordered. Very satisfied.
Daniel W.
Works as advertised. I glued a magnet to the back and used the magnetic base provided with my version 1 setup. It's much easier than the newer attachment.
Paul L.
Super fast delivery and very good customer service. The new remote was easy to pair to the main unit and it works great.

Alex was a great help to me with the ordering process. I will share this experience with my friends.

Remote is great. Just wish there was a piece that holds the remote on the cart.

Lost my Remote in a move, used the phone app and it worked well but much happier with the handheld! Well played

Hate pushing. Great walking behind.

Great Product. Had to use the smart phone app for a few rounds when I lost my original remote, and while it is handy to have that option; the original remote is awesome! Quick shipping on the replacement!

Had no choice lost mine. So had to order new one. Very easy to pair Just a little expensive. Glad I could order one received fairly quickly. Thanks

Remote was shipped fast! Did not miss a round!

Remote on v2 not durable.
Have had issues with it, in fact have had 2 of them and still have issues. The guys that help are great. The remote is poor quality compared to the vi.

My husband needs help. The new remote won’t synch up with the battery pack. Please call him at 757-438-0900 or email him at senatorfrankwagner@gmail.com. There must be some frequency adjustment that needs to be mase
Rich F.
Remote works great. All that came was just the remote no instructions. Once I found instructions online it was easy to program
Jesus R.
Had to replace remote because I drop it a few too many times… but I’ve had my V2 for over a year with no complaints…. Have to say that walking with a remote caddie is the best way to play golf… no energy lost carrying or pushing my cart. Makes the round much more enjoyable…. I tend to play better when I walk because it keeps my body loose instead of sitting in a cart…and on those cold winter rounds I stay warmer from constantly moving….

Needed a replacement remote after I somehow lost the original. Same item that I lost. Arrived just in time for a tournament. Good service. Reasonably fast shipping.

I lost my V2 Remote Control and ordered a replacement. The remote arrived within the time frame indicated at the time of order. Anxious to get it, I called the customer service number and the representative checked on the shipping schedule and advised the remote was release for shipping that day.
Great work by all at Alphard.

Easy and quick pairing with the V2!

Hey guys. It’s a 3-ounce remote. You sent it USPS. Everything was great. But I live in Hawaii and you won’t allow me to send it to Hawaii. WTF. I had to send it to my son who just readdressed it to Hawaii. I can understand the e-wheels with the lithium batteries but not the accessories.
Harry S.
I lost my first remote. I wish the remote had grip edges, it’s too slippery.
James L.
Great Remote
David M.
It typically works pretty well, except that when the unit is going downhill, the remote can't adjust the path left or right. The unit doesn't always go right as swiftly as adjusting to go left.
Not sure if this is a remote problem or on the unit itself.
Paul P.
I love it and my friends do as well. I already know of 2 other purchases
Maryann L.
My issue is with the V2 remote! I updated my V1 with a new mother board. Easy to install and loved the way I had more power! Now the remote doesn’t make sense! Don’t know when the charge is low and I hate that little rubber cover for the usb cable which keeps popping open. I don’t mind the new holder for remote but hate that there’s no indication when you have to charge. I rather have to use batteries so I can carry extras just in case!
Gary P.
Prompt shipment.

I had to order a new remote because I lost the first one - professional tip, don’t leave it on the roof of your car when you drive away from the course! The first remote worked perfectly and so does this one, pairs very easily also.
James N.
Alex Tse is great. The remote is poorly designed. Hard to read/see the same-colored control indicators on each button. Needs to be a daisy wheel so that to steer in slighter angles than Straight, Right, or Left. Lack of included belt clip feature is an obvious design miss. Other reviews noted other issues, but I cannot emphasize enough that it deserves positive points because Alex is determined to use our feedback to continue improving his genius Club Booster innovations.
Scott T.
First of all....the charging cover on the remote is flimsy, always opening while I'm using the remote and eventually fell off and disappeared. The buttons are so small and close together that I often press the wrong button by mistake. I recommend a complete do-over for the remote.
The screws on the axles under the rubber part of the clamps are eating away at the rubber and will cause me to order new rubber parts soon. Poor design...could have used counter-sunk screws.
If you are modifying your existing cart to take the V2, and you have 3 wheel Clicgear cart with a fixed front wheel, you may as well order the 2-wheel front adapter because the cart will absolutely NOT turn on grass that is too long or the grain of the grass is against the turn direction. It often just jumps up and down but won't turn.
All that said, despite the problems I've had, I do like the Alphard V2 and enjoy the games more and more as I get used to the new wheels. I think the wheels themselves are well made and hopefully will last as long time.
Harry P.
My remote control does not work. Haven’t had time to survey the situation or get in contact with you folks. But I will.
denis b.
How do you know when to charge the remote and how do you know when it is fully charged?
Bryan O.
Cover for charging port is flimsy and bothersome.
On/off transmitter LED and Gyro LED on remote unable to see in sunlight.
Don't use the 15 or 30 yard buttons.
Unable to determine battery consumption or when it needs charging.
The gyro feature is a positive.
The battery on remote lasts many rounds.
The battery on eWheel lasts for over 36 holes.
Ric C.
I have had a couple issues with my V-2 ewheels and Alphard took care of immediately! Could not be more pleased! They have a great product that works extremely well and if you do have an issue it it taken care quickly.
Chianna A.
The remote works great.
Eric J.
How do you know when the remote is fully charged? How many rounds does a fully charged remote last, how do you know when its getting low?

My friends have the first year model. Their remotes are great. Magnetized and sticks right to the cart along with a rubber cover to keep the remote from getting damaged. The V2 remote is cheaply made and there is no indicator to tell you when you should charge it. The first year's model takes batteries and you can keep spare ones in your bag or on your cart if needed. Sometimes upgrades are really not all that good....
Wayne B.
My problem is the V2 remote.
The V2 upgrade for the V1 doesn’t come with instruction period much less instructions to charge the V2 remote, with the V1 battery you plug in the charger and wait for the charger light to turn green.
The V2 remote green light comes on when you plug in the remote and then shuts off.
I can’t tell when the remote is fully charged. When the remote battery gets low the cart starts going erratic and in circles. I thought I put a full charge but it went dead after 8 holes. Had to push an almost fully charged cart for 10 holes. Had my iPhone but its battery was low and lasted one hole. Lesson learned charge the iPhone, but it’s bulky but better than pushing.
I still don’t know when the remote needs a charge and when it’s fully charged.
Also don’t know how or what battery is needed to replace the remote battery. Suggest making the remote more user friendly or changing to regular batteries that I can carry replacements.
