My V2 stopped working mysteriously after replacing the axle tubes, which had become crimped over time, possibly from tightening the clamps too much. After many conversations and videos of the motherboard, Alphard sent a new motherboard - still didn’t run. After further inspection, I discovered that the wiring harness sheaths to both wheels were damaged. Upon closer examination I discovered a broken wire. Still barely under warranty, they sent 2 new motors! I’m so thankful that Alphard stands by their product and took care of me. The V2 has been a terrific product - it helps me enjoy a round of golf (at age 70) without having to struggle pushing the cart up and down a 6 mile course.

Unfortunately for me what was a good product has turned into a white elephant. Bought the V1 when they first hit the market - good but had issues. Upgraded to V2 which fixed a lot of issues. Recently experienced an issue with a drive wheel and ordered a replacement. Took a month to arrive. Unfortunately the Allen Bolts securing the drive wheel to the wheel had fused to the point where they could not be removed in the conventional way. All the bolts sheared and attempts to remove the remaining bolt shaft failed. Tried to order a new wheel but no luck. Time to bite the bullet and look for an alternative buggy.

One motor locked up and recieved a replacement. I personnaly installed it as per the instructions with no issues. It has been working well since the new motor was installed.
Customer
Motor is great but have had several issues as each wheel has seized up. Response times to my inquiries have been abhorrent with several days between each inquiry. Still jace outstanding issues 2 months since my initial problem

Had a motor go bad. After contacting support and diagnosing the problem, had a new replacement motor in a few days. Easy replacement procedure and I am a happy camper. Thanks Alphard Golf for a great product and a great warranty and great customer service.

Great product

I should of bought one a few tears back. I dislike riding in a cart, walking is the way golf should be played unless handicapped. at 67yrs old the v2 makes it easier to walk the hilly courses. Great product, great service!

great response and turn around time for the replacement motor.
thanks

My Alphard cart came with a bad right motor that would act up in the middle of a round. Alphard sent me a replacement and I'm gradually starting to trust. It was nice that I could replace the motor myself but it was a surprise that I needed to do so.

Installed per instruction video. No issues so far.

New motor operated perfectly after installing it. Installation was fairly easy, took about 40 minutes, my first time.

Supper easy to install. Video was key!!!!

I only had my V2 about a month when one of the wheel motors stopped working. Contacted Tony and received an immediate response. He and his team sent a new motor to me and in a weeks time I was fully operational again. Great customer service!

My right side motor was causing problems, Support helped diagnose that a new motor was needed. While out of warranty, the parts cost of $197 delivered was no unreasonable. Once it arrived, the support video was clear with instructions and took a bit over an hour to complete. All is good since.

Ended up not being an issue with the Motor but instead an issue with the motherboard. After some delays in response time, Alphard was quick to help diagnose the real issue and get the correct parts to me.

I had a defective motor when I originally received the V-2. I was sent a replacement motor by Alphard which needed to be replaced. I was able to replace it with out too much difficulty, you'll need to watch the video and keep track of all the screws. Also remember that part of the shaft is flat and needs to be aligned back that way. That mistake cost me more time and it wasn't pointed out on the video. I've only had time for 9 holes with the new motor but working smoothly so far! It's a great e-cart! Keith

Techs wre excellent at diagnosing the malfunction, and getting replacement parts ordered. They also helped with video instructions about how to install the new parts.

replaced motor works good

The replacement motor itself works well and the company fulfilled its 2 year warranty on the unit by replacing it for free. As for the service, the video informing how to change the motor should be updated to let the DIY person know to use metric not standard when removing the screws. At first, using the Chat when logged into my account for service went unanswered for weeks. I used the Facebook V2 group page for suggestions. One suggestion was to directly email Tony. That didn't work. Received no response from him. I decided to call directly until someone answered. Finally, David did and sent the replacement out to me. There are a lot of chatter how bad the Customer Service is. Thank goodness in my case I didn't have that bad of an experience thanks to Dave

One thing I can say for sure, is that Alphard has excellent customer service. I've had several opportunities to request their assistance, and they have gonna above and beyond to handle those issues. My most recent purchase was a replacement wheel motor. It arrived within days of my order, and an instructional video is provided on their website. The install was easy.

Fast delivery. Easy to change. Simple to understand instructions.

I needed to replace the right wheel motor on my V2 unit. My good fortune was that it was covered under warranty. Additionally, the good folks at Alphard designed the unit to make replacing various parts pretty easy and created videos to show the process. Simple tools and good instructions made the removal of the old motor and installation of the new one quite easy and also quick.

No problems with the purchase and delivery. New motor fitted without any dramas. Decided to track down another suitable 2nd hand golf buggy with a front wheel that moves. Having a fixed front wheel seems to place too much torque in the motor at slow speed manoeuvres on awkward ground.

Ordered my ewheel right side wheel motor. It got to me in a week. Replaced the old wheel with the new motor and it runs like it’s brand new!

Work very well ,save à lot energy

Website makes ordering parts fast and easy. About the third time I used the V1, I had the remote in my pocket and it ran into a lake. I hadn't used it for almost three years. Finally had a chance to look for the parts and their new site was up. Put in the V2 'board' with the remote. The right motor/wheel had seized so I replaced it also. V2 remote has a 'lock' so that it will not 'runaway'. Not bad for a $3,000 caddy!..........phone, laser and other stuff went into the lake too..........

As the owner of Golf Etc, Medford (Golf Shop of Southern Oregon), I sold a number of the Club Boosters units. Earlies this year (2022) one of my customers reported that one motor was binding and not driving. I disassembled the motor and discovered that a washer/shim had broken and worked is way into the motor magnetic field. I contacted your distributor and provided pictures. I was told that they had never heard of this problem but I needed to replace the motor. I cleaned up the motor and removed the broken parts and the motor is operating fine many months later. Recently another customer reported the same issue. Again I disassembled the motor and discovered the same problem. I reported this to your distributor as well as Alphard direct. I was told that I needed to purchase a new motor. I did purchase the new motor as the damage was too great that the motor would not operate correctly.
I believe in customer satisfaction and made multiple attempts to inform the distributor as well as Alphard of this problem in the hopes that someone would take an interest in researching a product improvement. The impression that I have is that you would rather sell a new motor at $180.00 rather than improve the existing.
If anyone cares to discuss my experiences with this subject, I can be reached at 541-944-8589 or via e-mail at Golfshopso@gmail.com

I purchased this 3 years ago and used it every weekend most of the time Saturday and Sunday. It’s been a workhorse. The other weekend my right side hub locked up. I purchased the hub and it came in 4 days. Easy to install works perfectly.

The motor which was delivered so quick is running well. Thanks.

I bought an original GO FUND ME V1! Initial issue was that it did not drive straight. Installed V2 upgrade, which fixed the issue. Cart tracks perfectly straight. The install instructions worked fine. Next, the right wheel bearing broke thru the metal housing. Purchased the replacement motor kit and the install instructions worked perfectly - job complete in 45 minutes.

Fast delivery. Works great. Easy to install. Perfect.
Thank you

Wheel motors were shipped quickly and in good shape. They were easy to install after watching a YouTube video.
Khalid W.
The Alphard team was very helpful in helping me troubleshoot the issue. Once the motor was identified as the culprit, it was shipped fast and it was relatively easy to install. While you are at it, try to tighten both sides where the wheels attached to the unit. This will reduce unnecessary and unwanted movement as the unit navigates your bag on rough terrain.
