Works well

Not quite the dramatic improvement I expected. I was looking to get rid of the skidding that occurred with the Clicgear single front wheel when making sharp turns or pivoting without moving. It still skids with the two front wheels, just not as bad. Also, there’s quite a shimmy in the front wheels at slow speeds. Maybe it can be tightened? I’ll try that at some point. Overall, it’s probably worth the sale price I paid but it just falls a bit short of my expectations.

Though I’ve only used it a couple of rounds of golf, it was a good choice to make the operation much more smooth and controllable for turning.

The assembly was easy and only took a few minutes. It makes my cart so much easier to steer! Seems to extend my battery life. Very happy with the new front wheels that pivot.

It works perfect but it had been useful if you had informed that it is the original rear wheel that I will install at the conversion kit.

Enjoying the two wheel conversion for the front of my clic gear cart except for one thing. Have only used it for about 5 rounds and the hardware for the swivel which connects the two wheels came apart during my last round and lost hardware for one side. When I got home and checked the other side, it was loose also. Poor design for a swivel joint. Screws are just barely long enough to engage into fiber lock of the nut. Installed a bolt with spacer and nut that takes a cotterpin. Will never worry about it falling apart again at that connection.

The product doesn’t include wheels, but luckily I kept mine. Once assembled, it works much better than using a single wheel. Be aware that the instructions don’t mention a nut securing one of the screws on the Cliqgear. I stripped the screw and had to saw it off and drill out the stem, turning a 30‑minute job into a two‑hour project. Clear instructions would have made installation much easier.

Wheel assembly attaches to crossarm with a plastic insert. It snapped under normal use on the golf course.

Without this attachment, my Clicgear cart was useless with the Alphard Booster. It wasn’t able to maneuver tight spaces since my Clicgear cart didn’t have a swivel front wheel. This cart is the most maneuverable and most stable RC cart on the course now!

PRO: Steering is more responsive. Less apt to do 'wheelies' due to added front weight Smaller stand bag easier to secure now stays off front wheel as was a problem before. Should be easier to carry a larger heavier bag during winter conditions. Overall should be more stable. CON: Doesn't do reverse well at all. Very difficult to sit as pass. in golf cart and pull V2 while V2 is in 'free wheel' mode (for long rides bet. green and tee or if you're headed out for a shotgun start beyond the 1st tee). I've only used this mod in warm, dry weather so we'll wait and see if steerage changes with use in wet and/or soggy conditions. Some suggest the front wheels may allow longer battery life. No indication of that so far but my experience is that cold, wet weather DOES reduce battery life during a round especially as the battery ages. Overall I'm happy with the two front wheels on my Clicgear cart.

A little bit difficult to assemble, but once I got it together it was wonderful. My golf game is now like a walk in the park instead of a struggle to push/pull my cart around the course. My lower back is very appreciative!

Funtastic!

Installation is really easy, once I stepped over my anxiety to cut the break wire. Realizing that the engine V2Pro will break my cart now, I did as instructed and works perfectly. Must say that it is really easy to turn the cart now, so works as advertised.

It keeps me walking.

This was extremely easy to install. It took a little getting used to the swiveling, but it works great and really saves battery life.

Thought I could get by without the swivel kit, but now I get so much more battery life.

The turns are sharp and precise now, no more dragging the front static wheel across the ground to turn. Looks like I will be seeing decrease in battery usage also because of the easier turns. The only drawbacks I see are: one...you need to cut the battery cable which is not a problem because the V2 already does braking for you. Two, reverse is difficult because the wheels turn on reverse, and don't stay inline when backing. Again, something I rarely have need to do. Also, be aware that you need to have the two wheels you took off the cart to install the V2 as the frame uses them for the front wheels. I'm very happy with the unit and look forward to the extra maneuverability and battery usage decrease.

I have had the V2.Pro and front swivel for two rounds now and it is great. It maneuvers very smoothly and it has been a good send not having to push my cart during these hot humid days. I had two guys who I was playing with who had their own electric cart were admiring the V2 Pro the hole round and were asking me questions about it.

It's a lot better than having the single wheel that doesn't turn but it would be nicer if the wheels didn't vacillate left and right so much. They need a damper of some sort.

Installation was not as straightforward as a screw head that had to be removed was stripped. Anyway got it done . While the cart is easier to turn , it is taking some time to get use to steering the cart. It seems the function to keep the cart in a straight direction is off a little bit . Overall still getting use to it.

I recently added the Alphard Swivel Wheel Attachment to my Clicgear cart, and I couldn't be happier with the upgrade. This attachment completely transforms how the cart handles. The Clicgear swivel kit actually makes the cart’s performance worse with the only positive being that it helps with battery life, so they say. 1) It won’t backup straight, the wheels automatically react by turning so the cart just makes an arc. I’ve absentmindedly stopped down the fairway in the path of my friend needing to hit. What I’ve described above makes it difficult to get out of the way. 2) The V2 gyroscope function doesn’t work well because the swivel wheels are instantly reacting to the V2 attempting to maintain a straight path on a side hill incline. 3) when using the remote to steer, it takes constant adjustments on my part to navigate a path. 4) I bought a Sidekick, and I don’t trust it at all given the facts mentioned in 1,2 and 3 above. Save yourself some money and buy a new cart with 360 degree swivel front wheel instead. A further grievance I have is that the Alphard Customer Service is sorely lacking. I could never get anyone on the phone, and I have sent emails on 2 occasions where I never got a response from the first one, and an untimely response to the second. When they finally did respond it was a template response and it was obvious they didn’t read the email closely as they did not address the points I made in it. So far the score is Clickgear Swivel wheel accessory is Zero stars, Sidekick zero stars, Customer Service is zero stars. My guess is that the only persons that will be reading this is the person reviewing reviews to weed out the unfavorable ones. I’ll be surprised if I ever see this review on their website.

The modification was easy to follow. It wasn't difficult and took less than an hour to complete. One thing which would be nice was if one was able to lock the wheels when putting the unit into storage. Another thing is if the wheels on the V2 were the same diameter as the wheels on the cart manufacturer provided with the original unit.

Swivel wheel conversion kit definitely makes the alphard system easier to control. I had a bat caddy with a fixed wheel and it was always frustrating to have to constantly pivot the cart. The swivel wheels help make it move much smoother. The only negative with it is that my clicgear can no longer fold up and click into its compact form but that was to be expected.

Works great and uses less battery charge! I will have to see if I can get a full two rounds on one charge now. Only got about 30 holes when I had the single non-pivoting front wheel. A little more challenging to fold up when done, but not bad.

I must have inadvertently ordered the wrong transition piece which caused delays . To prevent that from happening, you should send out an order confirmation spelling out exactly what was ordered. That should catch some of the mistakes.

The installation of the Swivel Wheel Conversion Kit is generally straightforward and really works well with Clicgear 3.5+ cart. However, I would like to mention that I encountered difficulties in removing the front wheel mounting bracket or Wheel Pivot on my cart. The inner bolts were frozen, potentially due to rust. If you encounter this issue, I strongly advise against stripping the bolts as I did. Instead, I recommend applying a bolt loosing product in advance.

Steering is night and day better now, and I don’t have to take such wide loops to turn the cart from the tee box. One thing I really wish the swivel kit offered would be a quick release system for either the wheels or the whole axle. I put my cart in the topper over my car but with the swivel kit it takes up too much space. Quick release would make storage a bit easier, but that’s my burden to bear.

The conversion was rather easy and the electric cart works perfectly. I am getting great exercise when I golf and playing better.

Really enjoy my battery operated cart but I ordered the swivel kit for the front wheels to help turn better and save the battery charge. Unfortunately tho, the cart goes immediately to the right, making it hard to keep straight and running the battery down faster. Still like it but wish there is a way to make it go straighter. Would love to add the GPS to it but on back order.

Get the 2 wheel conversion. I think it really helps with steering, but don't know first hand about the 3c wheel EV. I also heard it uses less battery dye to less drag on the wheels! Love my V2!

Well built.

The swivel kit works ok, but it seems as if the wheels turn too far to the left or right (whichever direction you'd like to go) and the front of the cart actually slides sideways until the speed slows down. But I'm happy with the performance thus far.

I put this off until this spring. Am so pleased with the product and it has made the game more enjoyable. Much better walking the round versus riding or pushing the cart. Should have done it years ago. Thanks for a great product.

The front wheel swivel conversion for my click gear 3.5 cart make maneuvering the cart so much easier, it also seems to help the battery.

I have the fixed front wheel cart, and turning was a problem. With the swivel front, turning is a breeze. The only problem is it turns too easily and the grain of the grass can send it in the wrong direction. It's a good problem to have, still prefer it to the old way. Placing the device was easily done, didn't encounter any problems with that.

This was a gift for my husband who is the golfer and he absolutely loves the "Swivel Wheel Conversion Kit for Clicgear" & the "Club Booster V2Pro"....he has not yet tried the "Sidekick".

I am learning to like my swivel frontend. It's all about speed. When I'm going at a slow speed, it becomes difficult to keep the cart going straight because it has quick reaction to steering. However, when I'm going at speed, it maintains it's directional control quite well. It should be noted that I use the V1.

Installation was easy. Very responsive steering. Battery life is far better

Wheel kit is great! Much easier to steer and control, battery is extended at least 20%. I was frustrated with having to regularly adjust the single wheel, it never ran straight, the wheel kit is a game changer!

Alphard golf is now one of my companies to buy from. My V2 Pro was delivered as promised and in perfect condition. Set up was simple and everything fit and worked as advertised. I also bought the Clicgear front swivel kit, and the Sidekick. Both of those accessories also set up and worked as advertised. I have used my V2 Pro for 5 rounds already and it has made walking the golf course a joy. Thank you Alphard.

The maneuverability of my power cart is much better since I upgraded to the front wheel swivel conversion. As you can see it turns much smoother. Not as efficient as a swivel single wheel but much better than a solid front wheel. Highly recommend for anyone on the fence. Was worth it

Definitely recommend getting this conversion for the 3-wheel cart. It makes the cart far more maneuverable (especially on the cart paths) and improved my battery life by almost 50% over a round. It’s quite easy to install

I wish they could do this with one swivel wheel instead of using the two big wheel that come with the Click Gear cart. It makes it so big and bulky.

Works great. Stabilizes the drive of the cart. I wish it did not skid the wheels when turning in place, but the only thing that could fix that is a 360 degree turning front wheel like the cybercart.
